IT Background

Antony has been developing web based solutions for several years now with his main focus, and joint brainchild, being a music industry project known as muZonet.com. muZonet was an ethical company designed to support local music shops across the UK and to avoid their widespread collapse due to large companies cutting prices and the inevitable effects of economic globalisation. The lack of support from visionless (and sometimes unscrupulous) music industry companies/bodies resulted in our retraction of this service (the industry is currently witnessing more local shop closures every day than ever before). On the positive side Antony is now able to fully commit his resources to the growth and maintenance of The Journey Tree and it's services.

Working on the muZonet project included the maintenance of over 4,000 files, an online catalogue and the management of a large sql server database. During this time Antony has become proficient in the design and creation of web pages and web-based applications, online database integration and graphic design.

Services

To begin with we will be offering web page design and the possibility of hosting your pages here at The Journey Tree e.g. thejourneytree.com/yourwebaddress (or your web pages can be uploaded to your own server). As our resources become more available (we also have to maintain our own site and have a range of computer software due for release!) we will expand our range of IT services.

If you are an ethical/eco-spiritual shop, venue or website please note that the articles, directories and event guide in our Green Pages will soon be available for integration into your existing, or Journey Tree designed web pages. This will enable you to display ethical events, directory listings etc happening all over the UK or you can choose to simply display those found in your own area.
